How do I reserve a side of beef?

  • Pay the $125 deposit.
  • Let us know how to have your half cut.

What happens next?

  • We’ll contact you after the steer is processed
  • We’ll tell you the hanging weight and arrange for beef pick-up.
  • Using the hanging weight, we’ll give you your final cost.
  • Final payment is due at pick-up.

What is the cost of the beef?

  • Cost is $7.50 a pound hanging weight.
  • Every steer is unique so each steer will have a different weight.
  • Average hanging weight is 203 lbs for a half of Dexter beef.
  • Average hanging weight is 260 lbs for a half of Angus beef.

No meat is shipped. Purchases can be delivered locally or picked up at our farm.

You could also download the sheet and send it to us by email or mail. 

We will let you know well in advance when your beef will be ready to pick up. If an emergency arises and you will be delayed in picking up your beef, please let us know as soon as possible. We can store your custom cut beef for you for a maximum of 3 days after your pickup date. After that, we will have to clearance it and you will lose your deposit. With a small family business comes limited storage. Thank you for understanding.
